the good: easy to use, free if you're only doing a few products the bad: doesn't honor templates, doesn't always get the draft/active status right, and only imports a single photo Kind of a pain in the neck but it's marginally better than a plain csv import.

This CSV field mapping app is the best one I have tried on Shopify. It works the first time and the customer service is excellent. Save your eyes precious time by listing products in a spread sheet and import. This is a big help when getting new products online.

The app seems to work fine but it doesn't offer anything else than the default Shopify product import-export app. It might help a better app showcase where it shows what the app can do better than the regular Shopify app. Great support and customer service.
